Packingtons Pound by Anonymous (16th century)
Instrumental version of a ballad that tells of a Sir Francis Packington. Mr. Packington a foolish 3000 pound mistake of a wager that he had the athletic prowess to swim the Thames underwater. This was prevented wager was stopped by Queen Elizabeth, apparently worried for Packington’s safety.
