Gaspar Sanz was an Aragonese composer, guitarist, organist and priest born to a wealthy family in Calanda in the Spanish comarca of Bajo Aragón. He studied music, theology and philosophy at the University of Salamanca, where he was later appointed Professor of Music. |

8 Bars. No Barred chords. Several note and chord suspension. Bar[5] has a series of right hand (mimi) on one string. Bar[6] has a series of thumb bass notes on a single string. Las Hachas or the sword is not a difficult piece to learn. I find it a good warn up song being a short 8 bar song that uses pima for the right hand.
