The Fisherman’s Song from El Amor Brujo is a sweet and haunting piece for the guitar. It translates differently from the other pieces as it is almost a monotone melody with accompanying chords depicting a mysterious yearning for love lost. It truly captures the ambience of the sea with the smooth, returning mournful motif. It plays as though it was composed for the guitar!
